We are two sisters celebrating our mom’s legacy of finding joy in everyday life.
Simple Joy is a way for us to give a voice to people in our lives and communities that are living in joy and giving to others in a great way.
When our mom faced her greatest challenge of terminal stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, she always said that cancer would never steal her joy.
Choosing joy while navigating through grief led us to want to bring light to those around us and look deeper into our own lives and celebrate the simple blessings.
Meet Melissa Wife, mom to a few wild but adorable children, {sister}, and elementary school teacher. She enjoys spending Missouri nights around the bonfire with her family, watching her kids’ tackle the sports world, girl’s nights with good wine, and running.
Meet Lauren Wife, mom of a 2 toddlers, {sister}, and unconventional occupational therapist. She enjoys dinner out with her family, a beer on the porch watching a Texas sunset, sleeping in, early morning workouts, girl’s nights that last till midnight, and watching her little babies discover their world.
